Alzheimer's Society - United Against Dementia
Too many people face dementia alone. People with dementia, their carers, family and friends have told us how difficult it is to know where to turn to when faced with dementia. If you need information, advice or support, the Norfolk & Waveney Dementia Support service is here for you. Nobody should have to face dementia alone.
Alzheimer’s Society offers a number of factsheets and booklets covering a wide range of dementia-related topics, supports the dementia friendly communities and dementia friends initiatives, involves people affected by dementia in their work and campaigns and funds vital research. There’s also an online self-help service and a 24/7 online forum called ‘Talking Point’.
The Norfolk & Waveney Dementia Helpline is available Monday to Friday 9.00am – 5.00pm on 01603 763556. Alzheimer’s Society also operate a National Dementia Helpline available Monday to Wednesday 9.00 – 8.00pm, Thursday and Friday 9.00am - 5.00pm, Saturday and Sunday 10.00am – 4pm, on 0300 222 1122
