Lakes End Village Hall
Village Hall will be closed from 28th to Mid setember 2022 for building works
The first Lakes End Village Hall Committee dates back to 1965. They were a group of four Trustees, Ernest Bishop, Alec Clingo,
George Hardy and Doris Loveday, who raised enough money to buy a piece of land in the middle of the village and build a small village hall on it. It's thanks to the fund raising efforts of those first Trustees that we have a hall today and over the years we have had countless Committees who were dedicated to the community in which they lived to keep the hall going.
Today there is a new voluntary Committee of Trustees. Some have stood on the Committee for many years, others are new, but we all have the same drive and dedication of that first Committee and are totally committed to keeping the Village Hall available as a resource to the village and wider community.
