West Norfolk and King's Lynn Beekeepers' Association
The West Norfolk and King's Lynn Beekeepers’ Association is the oldest in Norfolk having reformed after the first World War in 1920. In 2007 the name changed to West Norfolk and King's Lynn Beekeepers' Association to reflect the wide area in which its members live.
It is part of the British Beekeepers' Association (BBKA), which amongst other things provide insurance cover and organise beekeeping qualifications, and it has close ties with other beekeeping organisations in the region, particularly Norfolk Beekeepers' Association.
The Association is particularly keen to help those new to beekeeping and details of its Association Apiary can be found on its website. It holds introductory courses each year and helps its members achieve the basic qualifications of the BBKA.
An annual membership fee applies.
