Methwold Community Action Group

Methwold Community Action Group exists for the purpose of promoting, supporting and undertaking community projects, events and activities within the Parish of Methwold. This includes the villages of Methwold, Methwold Hythe and Brookville. It is a non-profit making organisation based on volunteers.

The Group was formed in 2008 primarily to assist in reinstating a village Post Office but since then has gone on to become quite a force within the parish.  Under it’s wing Methwold in Bloom, Methwold Ladies Group and Methwold History Group have taken off and are proving very successful & popular. The Group has organised events such events as Carols around the Christmas Trees and a wonderful community celebration of Prince William & Katherine Middleton’s Royal Wedding & the Royal Jubilee celebrations in 2012
