West Norfolk Walking for Health
Please see the website for full details and the programme of walks.
Suitable for all levels of sport and physical activity and includes a programme of walks based in West Norfolk. The walks, which vary in length, are led by volunteer walk leaders.
The walks are locally held where you are encouraged to walk at your own pace but if possible slightly faster than a normal stroll. The aim is to encourage and support people who are trying to increase their activity levels and lead a healthier lifestyle.
All of the walks are free and some are bookable in advance. The walk leaders are friendly and support walkers whatever their needs. All participants are asked to complete a short health questionnaire before the start of the walk, arriving 15 minutes before the walk start time.
The programme is available online at West Norfolk Walking for Health – Walking in West Norfolk for Health and Wellbeing (wnwfh.org.uk). It can be picked up at most GP Surgeries; Tourist Information Centres and Borough Council offices in King's Lynn, Downham Market and Hunstanton; public libraries in King's Lynn, Downham Market, Dersingham, Hunstanton and Mobiles; or from Walk Leaders. A copy can also be found below.
