Norfolk Medicines Support Service
The Norfolk Medicines Support Service is an assessment service for people over the age of 18, still living in their own homes who are having difficulties managing their medication.
A pharmacist or pharmacy technician will visit you at home to talk about your medication. The assessor can provide you with information about your medicines and suggest ways to help you manage medicines independently. Any suggested changes to your medication will be done by your GP. The service also provides support for care agencies who may be able to help you take your medication.
Referral is made via your usual community pharmacy (chemist) or GP surgery – please approach them initially to say you are having difficulties with your medicines.
