Support Dogs is a national charity (mainland UK) dedicated to increasing independence and quality of life of people with various medical conditions. It provides, trains and supports specialist assistance dogs to achieve this.
Its dogs provide help with everyday tasks for people with physical disabilities, give advanced warning of seizures for people with epilepsy and provide safety and support for children with autism and their families.
Support Dogs is the only organisation in the UK to train Seizure Alert Dogs and has recently trained the first Guide/Seizure Alert Dog in partnership with Guide Dogs for the Blind.
