Seafarers Hospital Society

The Seafarers Hospital Society is a charity for former or working merchant seafarers or fisherman, and their close dependants. The Society considers requests for:

Disability aids or equipment, such as stair lifts, electrically powered vehicles (EPVs) including wheelchairs, riser/recliner chairs and adapted bathrooms
Household items, such as cookers, fridges, washing machines and beds
Help with unpaid bills such as gas, electricity, water, Council Tax and rent
Essential household maintenance such as repairs, decorating and carpets
Respite breaks or convalescence
Clothing
Help with funeral expenses
