Downham Market Men's Shed

We are a friendly group of men working together to create a Men's Shed for Downham Market. We usually meet on a Monday morning at 10am (except bank holidays) and a Wednesday evening at 6.30pm (check beofre travelling). We start with a cuppa and chat, then go out to our workshop where we have a range of tools and equipment for small woodwork projects.

There is also space in the church for us to do whatever activities we fancy. We enjoy the occasional visit and welcome a speaker now and again. We are working hard to expand our workshop to give us a bit more space.

We have an annual membership fee of £5, and we also ask for a £1 donation each time you come to help cover the cost of tea, coffee, etc. Everyone is welcome.

What is a Men's shed? 

It's a larger version of a typical man's shed in their garden. It's a space to get together to share knowledge and learn skills and meet new people, to work on projects and hobbies and get involved in your community, to relax, chat, laugh, drink tea and eat cake.
