Reading Well for people with long term conditions
Reading Well Books on Prescription helps people to understand and manage their health and wellbeing using helpful reading available from public libraries.
Reading Well for long term conditions has been developed for people with long term health conditions and their relatives and carers. The titles provide information and advice to support living well with a long term condition.
The books cover common symptoms associated with living with a long term condition including pain, fatigue, sleeping problems, and mental health and wellbeing. It will also include condition-specific titles covering conditions such as arthritis and diabetes.
All of the titles on the list can be reserved free of charge from any Norfolk library, or online by visiting the library catalogue. The books are available to borrow for up to six weeks. For more information visit the Reading Well website.
