Downham Market Town Council

We support, guide and co-ordinate town community and infrastructure development.

​We are the sole Trustees of the Jubilee Community Centre charity and managers of the venue.

​We are the managers of The Town Hall including hiring the venue out for events, small and large, and are the holders of the licence for weddings. 

​We are guardians of the Town Square Clock and the Town’s War Memorials.

​We offer small Grants to help local organisations.

​We are consultees on matters concerning town planning.

​We manage the Local Markets—held on Fridays and Saturdays in the town centre. 

​We hold a variety of Events including Christmas Lights Switch on, Downham Market Live! Music festival, monthly cinema in the Town Hall, Mayor’s Civic events for the benefit of the town’s residents.

​We are working with other agencies to agree a Neighbourhood Plan.
