The Dersingham Day Centre is for residents within the Carole Brown Surgery's catchment area who are over the age of 70 and feel that they would benefit from a day out each week to socialise and enjoy the company of others. It meets each Wednesday from 10.00am - 3.00pm.
Run entirely by volunteers, the Day Centre provides special transport and a hot, freshly cooked, midday meal. It also runs a variety of activities during the day including handicrafts (for those who are interested) and bingo once a month.
A nominal charge is made each week. Referral to the Day Centre is only available to residents within the Carole Brown Surgery's catchment and there is currently a waiting list.
For current venue, please contact the chairman.
