Downham Market Arts

Downham Market Arts is a community arts organisation.
It was set up in 2015 to bring high quality arts activities and experiences to people of all ages living in the town of Downham Market, Norfolk, UK, and  outlying villages.
We became a registered charity in 2018.

Its primary aim is to establish a framework and opportunities which will support the ongoing development of a broad range of community and participatory art-based activities in ways which are inclusive and sustainable.

As far as possible we use accessible venues within the town and enlist the services of local businesses to help carry out our activities. Wherever possible we work with other local community organisations which share our aims. In this way we hope to increase access and engagement with the arts by the whole community.
