Libby

Norfolk Libraries offer a range of e-books and e-audio books that library card holders can download free of charge. E-books are electronic books, which are read from a screen rather than from paper. E-audio books are books that are read aloud.

You can borrow eBooks on your tablet by downloading the new Libby App from your device’s App store.

It also has collections of films, games and music, offering a huge range of choice across a wide variety of genres. New titles are added to the collections on a monthly basis. Blu Ray DVDs are available in selected libraries.

Library users have free access to numerous (normally paid-for) online information sources, including encyclopedias, newspapers and family history records through its online subscriptions.

It also runs the photographic library Picture Norfolk and distributes the East Anglian Film Archive DVD collection which contains priceless historic film footage of how the countryside, industry and everyday life in our region used to be.
