Downham Amateur Dramatic Society
The DADS, based in Wimbotsham, Norfolk UK, perform two full plays and a Christmas show every year and occasionally enter one-act plays into regional drama festivals as well as offering their services for other things such as in recent years their own KIDDS club. In recent years, they have won a number of awards, including the NODA Eastern Region District 1 Best Drama and Best Production awards.
There are so many aspects to any non professional theatre group, and people join from all walks of life to get involved in acting, directing, costumes, props, as well as lighting, sound, set design & construction, stage management, publicity, front of house….the list goes on.
So, if you feel you might have a talent in any of the above areas, we’d love to hear from you!
