Dereham Cancer Care
Support & Information Centre
Our Centre is run by Volunteers, who offer support, friendship and information to cancer patients, their families and carers, indeed anyone whose life is touched by cancer in the Dereham area. Visit our trained Volunteer Befrienders for a coffee and a chat; some of whom have had cancer themselves and have experienced what you may be going through, others have lost a loved one to cancer and are now here to support you. We are here to help you on your journey with cancer.
Appointments with our qualified therapists for Reflexology, Aromatherapy, Reiki and Counselling can be arranged at Our Centre. Our Charity sponsors treatment sessions for cancer patients and their carers. This service is also offered to those recently bereaved who have lost a loved one to cancer.
The Moving On Project
Its a new era for our Charity which brings extra services for local patients and carers who are ready to move forward on their cancer journey.
Our Moving on Project was opened at the end of November 2012. It is a community led drop-in social centre for all local people touched by cancer, where we provide a welcoming comfortable place to be with friends, share interests, hobbies and crafts and social events.
