Swaffham Men's Shed
Whether it be a cuppa and a chat, or a hobbyist working on a project shoulder to shoulder with other members, we wish to eradicate the stigma around social isolation and improve mental well-being.
Whilst many can potter around in their own sheds, workshops and gardens, doing this alone contributes to the social isolation that can be very damaging to somebody's mental health. We are keen to aid people from all areas of life, young and old to become socially active and join our members in projects whether that be making something for family or to help out in the community, either independently or as part of a group.
No experience is needed as we have members that are willing to share their own knowledge with the group.
