North West Norfolk Phobbies Club Dersingham

About thirty of us meet and do a variety of craft-based hobbies: over the years these have included woodwork, embroidery, knitting, rug making, art, card making and many others as well.

Most of the men and women who join us either have a disability or have become infirm in some way, but those who have no problems are welcome as well; what we all enjoy is the company of others while at the same time doing something practical. We all help each other to learn new things or to re-learn something we liked doing in the past.

Although based in Dersingham, currently our members include people from Hunstanton, Heacham, Snettisham, Docking and as far as King’s Lynn. I am afraid we cannot provide transport, however, several people share lifts with each other.

Each year we have at least two sales of things we have made. These, together with raffles and a small subscription each week, pay the bills, provide lots of tea and biscuits and give us enough to have occasional treats.

Even if you wouldn’t want to come regularly you are very welcome to just come and visit. We would be very pleased to show you what we do.
