Reffley Community Association - Reffley Hall
Once an old 70’s hospital ward, Reffley Community Association was rebuilt in 2008. The hall is now an essential part of Reffley estate, and it remains a popular venue and meeting point for the hundreds of people we welcome back each year.
Our site has been serving the local and nearby residents’ for over 50 years. Being of interest and help to the community is pivotal to what Reffley Community Hall does.
Reffley Community Association also manages and maintains Spring Wood, a semi-ancient wood with field maple, oak, bird cherry, and beautiful hornbeam trees. Leased from the council, we ensure both areas are well looked after. During the summer you’ll spot yellow flag irises, black medrick, and cuckoo flora along the margin of the pond. Spring Wood is a peaceful area to savour the sounds and smells of nature. To the southwest of the wood, you can enjoy strolls along the amenity grassland that is well maintained by our committee.
We also manage the parkland area near the community hall ensuring it is litter-free and safe. Leased from the council, we ensure both areas are well looked after so everyone can enjoy the nature on our doorstep.
