Introduction to Mindfulness

This one off workshop from The Wellbeing Service is suitable for anyone wanting to reconnect with their body, mind and environment. It teaches you to focus on the present moment rather than being concerned with the past or worrying about the future. By doing so you can learn to notice signs of stress and anxiety and how to cope with them.

1.5 - 2 hour sessions by workshop or webinar.

Techniques include: meditation in which you focus on being intensely aware of what you're sensing and feeling in the moment, without interpretation or judgment. Practicing mindfulness involves breathing methods, guided imagery and other practices to relax the body and mind and help reduce stress.
