Gaywood Valley Conservation Group
The group is for volunteers to help enhance and manage the wildlife environment in the Gaywood Valley for the benefit of the community as well as wildlife. There are practical tasks, wildlife surveys, walks, talks and visits. The Gaywood Valley Conservation Group is supported by the Norfolk Wildlife Trust and works with councils, churches, landowners and businesses to improve and manage wildlife areas.
The group meets at 10am on Mondays (except Bank Holidays) at the River Lane Car Park, down Beulah Street, off Wootton Road and then go to the task site/walk for a 10am start. They finish at 1pm and return to the River Lane Car Park.
Volunteers are needed for either physical activities looking after wildlife areas or simply coming along to learn more about wildlife e.g. Birds, Dragonflies or Wildflowers. Please e-mail for programme details.
A volunteer information form is to be completed on first attendance. Telephone or e-mail, if possible, before first attendance.
There is no charge.
