Architects Benevolent Society
The Architects Benevolent Society cares for retired, former and current architects, assistants, technologists and landscape architects and their dependants. It provides practical and financial help to people of all ages who have experienced redundancy, illness, accident, bereavement or some other personal misfortune. Help falls into three main areas:
- Monthly grants for people needing regular financial help
- Gifts of money or interest-free loans for people facing a temporary financial crisis
- Free, confidential advice on a range of issues provided by its trained Welfare Officers
