Breckland Older People's Forum is a voice for those over 50, their friends, families and carers on issues that affect people as they grow older. It is part of a county and nationwide partnership and has representation on the Norfolk Older People’s Strategy Board.
The Forum has held events across the whole of Breckland, covering topics such as dementia, health and wellbeing, social isolation, safety in the home and care in the community. It invites agencies such as Age UK to take part, together with other speakers, and encourages those with information stands to attend.
Events are published in the local press, on the Breckland Council website and through social media and posters.
