The message in a bottle scheme gives the emergency services a single reference point for essential information within a household and is entirely free.

The plastic 'message in a bottle' container allows people to store important details, such as medical conditions and prescribed medication, for the emergency services to access if they are called to a person's home. The labelled bottle is stored in the fridge and by sticking labels on the fridge door and on the inside of the front door, emergency services will be alerted to check the bottle.
