Friends of St. Nicholas' Chapel
For over 600 years the wonderful carved roof angels, the dazzling stained glass and the history contained within St Nicholas' Chapel have inspired locals and visitors alike.
To protect this rich history for the future and enable this incredible building to remain as one of the jewels in King's Lynn's crown, a major fund raising campaign by the CCT and local people, has been conducted to fund both vital restoration work and an element of modernisation, costing over £2.7 million to complete.
The Chapel is still a consecrated and occasional services and some local funerals are still held. It is also in regular use for concerts, exhibitions and workshops. The modernisation work has provide better space and facilities for these events which you can view in the Venue section.
