Norfolk Conservation Corps

The Norfolk Conservation Corps has a varied and enjoyable programme, which includes pond maintenance, footpath construction, improvement of meadows and fens, and scrub clearance.

No special skills or previous experience are needed as experienced people are always present and willing to help. Necessarsy tools and equipment are provided - all you need to bring are wellington boots, some old clothes and a packed lunch. There is usually time to socialise at the end of the day, as well as a lunchtime walk.

It undertakes tasks throughout Norfolk, on most Sundays. Everyone is welcome to help out when they can and it is possible to come for a half-day on many tasks.

A two-monthly newsletter is sent to members giving details of upcoming projects. Where possible members try to share transport and it has members who can give lifts. It meets at its designated site at 10.00am.

New members are welcome. An annual subscription of £3 is payable.
