West Norfolk and King's Lynn Archaeological Society
The West Norfolk and King's Lynn Archaeological Society is a group of people interested in West Norfolk and its archaeology, history and heritage. The Society organises a series of lectures on archaeology topics which focus on the Archaeology and History of West Norfolk and further afield.
The Annual Lecture Programme is usually hosted on the Third Tuesday of each month at Marriot's Warehouse (formerly Green Quay), South Quay, King's Lynn from October to April. During the summer it arranges visits to historically interesting locations in the area and offers opportunities, through community outreach projects and liaising with other heritage projects, for local people to get involved in the archaeology of West Norfolk.
New members are welcome. A membership fee applies. People can also attend lectures and events, individually, at a small fee.
