King's Lynn Festival Chorus

King's Lynn Festival Chorus is the resident choir for one of the UK's leading music festivals.

As well as singing during the annual King's Lynn Festival (works have included Mozart's Requiem and Great C Minor Mass, Haydn's Missa in Augustiis, Vivaldi's Gloria and Orff's Carmina Burana), it performs other concerts throughout the year and has also undertaken a number of tours abroad. In 2006, the Chorus released its debut CD.

The 100-plus members of the Festival Chorus come from throughout Norfolk and the adjoining counties. Anyone able to display a basic vocal talent and a willingness to learn is welcome to come along to try out. Full entry to the chorus is by audition only. An annual subscription is payable.

Rehearsals take place every Monday during term-time, in the Main Hall, Springwood High School, Kings Lynn.
