Dersingham Task Force

The Dersingham Task Force is an informal group of volunteers, men and women, who normally meet at least once a month during Spring, Summer and Autumn, to tend public gardens and try to keep some of the public footpaths and open spaces within the village clear of excessive vegetation and litter.

Starting in 2018, we will have a basic programme of work for the maintenance of the rose bed and litter picking on the common - a copy of this programme, which includes further information about all tasks to be undertaken, will be available in the Parish Council Office from the beginning of the year. We also have an online map which shows the locations of all possible tasks, and the date and location of our next meeting, including additions to the basic programme.

We are always looking for additional volunteers to help us. The tasks are not too arduous and normally take no longer than one hour. If you would like to receive further information about joining us please contact Cliff Jordan, by email to
