William Day Community Hub

William Day Community Hub provides a range of social activities for frail elderly people and those with dementia. Activities include games, craft, reminiscence sessions, baking and visiting entertainment. There is also a lovely safe garden with a seating area and raised flower beds. Light lunches and refreshments are available for a small charge. Support is available from a team of experienced and trained staff. The Hub aims to offer person-centred care in a warm, friendly and safe environment.
Referral to the Community Hub is usually via Social Services but direct-referral is also possible. An assessment will be undertaken before acceptance to ensure that needs can be met safely whilst at the Hub.
Costs vary between approximately £31 and £52, depending on the level of support required. There is a further small charge for a two course hot lunch and refreshments.
