Motor Neurone Disease Association - King's Lynn and West Norfolk Group

MNDA

Having worked collaboratively for many years, the Kings Lynn Group and the Norfolk, Norwich and Waveney Branch are merging to form one branch, to ensure continuity of a supportive network across Norfolk on behalf of the Association.

Run by volunteers entirely, the Branch provides support and signposting to those living with and affected by MND.

This amalgamation will not in any way affect those we support – people living with MND, or their carers and families.

Local volunteers in Kings Lynn and West Norfolk are continuing in their current roles - Association Visitors, Care Services Navigator and Branch Contact. Local support meetings will still be held at Dobbies Garden Centre in Kings Lynn in alternate months and we plan to arrange a ‘Walk to D’feet MND’ in the summer.

MND Association care, quality of life, carer and other grants will continue to be available to people living with MND and their families throughout Norfolk. For information about our grants please see: Financial support grants | MND Association

The amalgamation provides extra opportunities for people living with MND to join meetings with their family or friends, both online and in person, in a range of settings across Norfolk.

The Norfolk, Norwich & Waveney Branch website and social media provide information and meeting details.

Please email mnda.norfolkwaveney@gmail.com  to receive ‘Fightback’, the Branch newsletter, which is circulated three times a year.
