People and Animals

People & Animals UK is a Community Interest Company (No. 09738365) providing animal and land-based therapeutic interventions, activities, education and skills development opportunities for children, young people and adults to support and enhance the physical, emotional and social well-being of individuals and the wider community.

Core aims include; raised aspirations, self-esteem, life skill development for improved access to education and employment, improved access to statutory services, improved community cohesion, enhanced identity and opportunities for those most vulnerable, lowered levels of social isolation and social anxiety, change of attitudes towards minority communities, increased sense of community pride, ownership and active citizenship.
