Railway Benefit Fund (RBF)
The Railway Benefit Fund (RBF) provides support to railway staff, active and retired, and their dependents. It gives practical help and financial assistance for a range of needs including:
• Funeral costs
• Disabled equipment
• Disabled facilities adaptations for your home
• Property repairs
• House contents, such as white goods, furniture and carpets
• Debts
• Debt relief order fees
• Bankruptcy fees
• Medical items eg. nebulisers
• Convalescent/respite breaks
• House removal costs
Applicants must be former or current employees of the British Railways Board or its subsidiaries. Dependants may also apply for assistance.
