Headway
Headway, the Brain Injury Association, is a national charity set up to give help and support to people affected by brain injury. Through its network of local groups and branches it offers a wide range of services, including rehabilitation programmes, carer support, social re-integration, community outreach and respite care. The services available will vary, depending on local needs and resources.
The Headway helpline is a confidential nurse-led service, available to anyone with a question about brain injury, from survivors and carers to students and professionals.
The helpline is open Monday to Friday 9.00am - 5.00pm, an answerphone is available at other times.
