Home-Start Norfolk Home-visiting Volunteer (Swaffham & District)
Can you spare a couple of hours each week? Make a difference to a family in your community!
If you have parenting experience Home-Start Norfolk would love to hear from you. We have families waiting for support and all we ask is for a couple of hours a week commitment to visit families with children under the age of 5 in their own homes. We offer a prep course accredited through CERTA which takes place one day a week for 8 weeks. During the course you will cover all kinds of things from confidentiality to play therapy and get to know other volunteers and the staff team. As a volunteer with Home-Start we try to arrange ongoing training opportunities and occasional social activities for you all to attend.
We are looking for volunteers fromthe towns of Dereham, Watton and Fakenham as well as the surrounding villages so all these areas.
