We are warning residents to be on their guard after receiving reports of a doorstep cold callers in Norfolk.
Firstly we have received reports of a man cold calling in the Shipdam area offering to undertake driveway and hard landscaping work. The man usually carries postcards detailing their 'services' and has been seen to be using a yellow tipper truck and a white minibus.
In some reports when residents have declined the offer of work the man has become verbally aggressive.
Secondly we have had further reports of doorstep cold callers trying to sell household cleaning products. Today two men carrying large bags were seen in the Kenninghall area.
We advise you to never deal with cold callers attempting to sell items or looking to undertake work on or around your property.
If you are looking to have this type of work done only deal with reputable companies you have researched and chosen yourself and have obtained a written quotation from.
It is possible these cold callers may continue to move to other locations in Norfolk.
