Only two candidate nominations were received in respect of the election set for Thursday, 8 February 2018 to fill three vacancies on Thornham Parish Council.
These two candidates were elected unopposed and a new election has now been set to fill the remaining vacancy.
Alison Jane Chesterman of Castle Cottages, Thornham and Stephen Michael Greef of High Street, Thornham, were elected unopposed.

The date of a further parish council election (subject to a contest) has been fixed as Thursday 8 March 2018.
Nomination papers must be received by the Returning Officer by 4pm on Friday 9 February 2018, and anyone wishing to withdraw a nomination must do so in the prescribed manner by 4pm on Friday 9 February 2018.
The polling station, which will be open from 7am to 10pm, will be in The Meeting Room, Thornham Village Hall, High Street, Thornham, Hunstanton PE36 6LX.
Applications to register to vote must reach the Electoral Registration Officer by Tuesday 20 February 2018.
Anyone unable to vote in person on that day may be eligible for a postal or proxy vote – contact Electoral Services on 01553 616773 for more information.
The deadline for applications to vote by post is 5pm on Wednesday 21 February 2018 (whether new or an amendment to an existing arrangement including postal proxies and proxies).
The deadline for new applications to vote by proxy is 5pm on Wednesday 28 February 2018 (or if an amendment to an existing arrangement, the form must be received by 5pm on Wednesday 21 February 2018).
The last day for receipt of emergency proxy vote applications on the grounds of physical incapacity or for work/service reasons (if the emergency did not exist at 5pm on Wednesday 28 February 2018) is 5pm on Thursday 8 March 2018.
Postal votes will be despatched around Friday 23 February 2018.
