Norfolk Libraries Online activities for children
Whilst we’re not able to offer activities for children and families in our libraries, there’s lots going on online. You can find the most up to date information on our What’s on pages and our Families Facebook page.
- Story and activity time: Every Monday at 12pm we’ll be sharing one of our favourite stories on Facebook. We’ll then suggest different activities you can do based around the book on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. It might be craft, something physical or something more sensory, lots of different ideas!
- Lego Club: On Wednesdays at 4.30pm on our Facebook we’ll share a video with a new Lego Challenge. We’d love to see your creations! And if you share them with us, they’ll feature in our gallery in the next video.
- Storywriters Club: Our brand new storywriters club for young writers restarts after half term via Zoom. For more information or to book a place please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
- Our favourite children’s books this month: October is Black History month and we’ve put together a collection of diverse reads on our eBook library. You can also check out all the newest children’s books on our online catalogue. One of our favourites is “When life gives you Mangoes” by Kereen Getten. A brilliant story for older readers about love, loss and friendship. You can reserve a copy from our catalogue or download the eBook on the Libby app.
