Crossroads Community Hub

Crossroads Community Hub provides a range of social activities for frail elderly people and those with dementia along with respite for carers.

Activities include games, craft, reminiscence sessions, baking and visiting entertainment, and there is also a large secluded and safe garden with a seating area and raised flower beds. Light lunches and refreshments are available for a small charge. Support is available from a team of experienced and trained staff. The Hub aims to offer person-centred care in a warm, friendly and safe environment.

Referral to the Community Hub is usually via Social Services but direct-referral is also possible. An assessment will be undertaken before acceptance to ensure that needs can be met safely whilst at the Hub.

Costs vary between £30 - £45, depending on the level of support required. There is a further small charge for a two-course hot lunch and refreshments.
