King's Lynn Minster - The Minster Choir
King's Lynn Minster possesses a fine four-part choir. Our choir performs, to a high standard, a repertoire that spans from the 16th century to the present day. We are always looking for new members to join - all voices are needed and no audition is necessary.
The choir rehearses each Friday from 7:30 to 8:30pm and usually sings Choral Evensong on Sunday evenings (from 6 to 7:30pm), although once a month it sings Choral Eucharist in the morning (from about 9:20am).
In addition to the usual offices, the choir sings for all of the town's civic services and occasionally sings Evensong in Norwich and Peterborough cathedrals.
King's Lynn Minster is one of the last churches in this part of East Anglia to sing full choral Evensong, part of our unique national heritage.
Paid scholarships available
The Minster also offers four paid choral scholarships each year to young people (aged 16-23).
