Freebridge Community Housing - Garden Assistance

Do you struggle to look after your garden?

Freebridge Community Housing provides a garden assistance scheme to assist tenants who require help to maintain their garden.

The scheme is available to tenants who:

• Have no family living in the borough that are able to assist them
• Have a medical condition and are receiving benefits

We can provide up to 7 visits between April and October/November. At present this service is free of charge.

The grass/hedges within the garden must be cut to a reasonable level before being added to the Garden Assistance Scheme. It is the applicants responsibility to ensure this condition is met and also that the garden does not contain anything that will limit access to carry out the works required.
